Swift Precision Ltd. Job Title: Chief Inspector Due to continued and stable growth, we at Swift Precision Ltd are looking for a Chief Inspector to join our team. Job Description: Key Responsibilities and Requirements: ·

Inspection of hardware and verification of conformity throughout its production cycle both dimensionally and aesthetically. ·

Release of processed components to the customer, ensuring that all applicable documentation has been correctly annotated. ·

Prevent the recurrence of non-conformities by identification, segregation, reporting, initiating correction and corrective action and verifying the actions taken. ·

Monitor non-conformities documented in the business. ·

Calibration of all active gauges. ·

Maintenance of customer specifications (as required) and inspection records. ·

Plan and control inspection schedules whilst ensuring quality standards are maintained. ·

Compilation and submission of first article inspection reports as requested by the customer. ·

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment within a specialised inspection office. ·

Managing a team of Quality Inspectors effectively. ·

Liaising with and reporting to the Head of Quality and EH&S to maintain high standards across the company.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate would have experience in the engineering/manufacturing industry within an inspection role. The candidate would be able to effectively and efficiently read and interpret engineering drawings and cross examine parts against these specifications. They would have a keen eye for detail, work well as part of a team and as an effective leader. Skills and Qualifications: A desirable skill set would include, but not be limited to: ·

Well organised. ·

Methodical and precise with good attention to detail. ·

Good problem-solving skills and judgement. ·

Proven leadership qualities. ·

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ·

Strong IT skills. ·
