More about the job: You will be required to carry out driving and delivery duties to our Homes and building sites situated throughout the South. At present this position is based at our Lymington warehouse, but this will be relocating to Ringwood in the future. As well as driving the position will involve various removal activities - moving, lifting and carrying up and down stairs. Working with a small friendly team you will also be required to assist in the warehouse and yard this will involve, emptying skips, tidying & stacking shelves arranging furniture and sorting materials. A forklift licence would be helpful (but training will be given if needed) this is a permanent position with the possibility to progress within the company. More about you: A class 2 HGV licence would be advantageous, but not essential and you must be used to driving in a careful and courteous manner. Ideally you will have an understanding of the care home environment and be sensitive to the needs of older people. You are friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. You will be able to cope with the physical demands of the role, be of smart appearance, with a flexible attitude to their duties as there will be occasional weekend and evening work.
