Maintenance Electrician, looking for an exciting new opportunity working in a prestigious building, located amongst some of London's best-known landmarks? I am currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician for a great position within a small but supportive team for an elite client in Central London. You will be working in a large historical building which is currently occupied by a diverse set of tenants, each with their own different needs. As a result this is a fast paced role offering various challenges, meaning you certainly won’t be bored or sat around! You will be site based, benefiting from working in a building which is a genuine hub of activity and centrally located. As part of the Facilities Maintenance team, you will be working alongside another Electrician, looking after the communal areas of this building. Be prepared to see your steps counter in overtime – if you stood this building on one end it would only be a few feet shorter than the Shard……! This Maintenance role is paying £14.90 and is on a temp to perm contract. Standard Hours are 7am – 4.30pm
Monday - Friday so you will benefit from a stable working pattern, meaning no middle of the night call outs, and your weekends to yourself! If you are a timely reliable person you can benefit from the fantastic attendance bonus which could see you earning unto an extra £160 a month, just think of the fun things you could do on your weekends off with that extra cash! Furthermore a 3% salary bonus is paid out at the end of the financial year as part of an appraisal bonus – if you are the type of person to get on with the job with little fuss, can get to work on time, and conduct yourself in a professional and customer service lead fashion, you can pretty much guarantee your bonus each year. The successful candidate will level headed, and be able to quickly adapt and act according to the changing needs of the business. You will also be able to take advice where needed from management when jobs are being completed as the two maintenance managers are very hands on but incredibly supportive!
You will have a minimum of 17th Edition, and it would be extremely advantageous if you were to be NVQ Level 3 qualified. This role is currently vacant, and as it is a temporary role can be filled immediately. so the client would like to turn around interviews and offer as soon as possible; as a result any suitable candidates can be interviewed at short notice. The interview process will be 1 interview, in which you will be shown around the building, and discuss your own experience and suitability for the position.
