Job Advert An opportunity has arisen within our service for a Personal Carer in the Falkirk Council area. Working as a member of the Home Care team you will provide support and personal care on a 'one-to-one' basis with people who have a wide range of caring needs in their own homes. Previous experience of working in a care setting is essential for this position of Personal Carer. We are looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a caring personality and someone who is reliable and can be relied upon to support the service user in their home. We are looking for someone that will always work in the best interests of the service user. Hours for this role are 24.57 per week, (on average 7 hours per working day) on a 7 over 14 working pattern with an availability of 7am-6pm. The shift pattern involves working every second weekend. All posts involve lone working. We require you to be mobile across the Falkirk Council area and you will spend time travelling between service users’ homes. Whilst there are no essential qualifications required for this post, you must be willing to be educated within the Council's timescale to SCQF level 5 which includes SVQ level 2, in order to register with the Scottish Social Services Council.
