We now have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring HR Business Partner to join our small but progressive HR team. Based at our site in Gargrave, Skipton, you will be supporting 450-500 employees on site, including designated client groups within the wider Acelity organisation. Training and coaching will be given to enable the successful candidate to achieve their objectives but we are looking for a self-starter with some experience of HR who is enthusiastic and willing to develop in line with the duties of the role. Responsibilities include advice and support to line managers in areas including recruitment, disciplinary meetings, ER issues, grievance resolution, training and development, employment law, policy design and implementation, systems management, reward and recognition. The site is unionised and the HRBP facilitates the processes to ensure that positive employee relations are maintained on site. Additionally you will be expected to administer benefits programmes and provide governance to ensure they are applied equitably. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to put your mark on the role and make it your own. The successful candidate will need to have high quality credentials and ideally HR experience within blue and white collar businesses. Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified or working towards it, although experience is more important. You will need to build relationships at various levels within the organisation and work collaboratively with colleagues, promoting team spirit. You will be results driven demonstrating a sense of urgency and commitment to delivering customer requirements and team objectives. You will be able to embrace change and accept new challenges and responsibilities as they arise. You must possess excellent Microsoft Office and systems skills, in particular the ability to manipulate and create reports and data in Excel.
