SOUTH SKYE AND LOCHALSH NORTH AND WEST OPERATIONAL DIVISION Learning Disability Support Worker (Community) - Band 3 Part-time, 20 hours per week, Permanent Salary scale: £17,760 to £20,727 pro rata An opportunity has arisen within Skye and Lochalsh for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in developing their career as a community support worker for people with a learning disability. Previous experience of working in a health or social care environment is essential with experience of direct work with people who have a learning disability within a community setting would be desirable. You need to be able to communicative effectively with both people who are using our service, their carers/family and staff at all levels. You should be confident and have the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. A full driving licence and use of own car for work purposes are an essential requirement of the post as you will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
