Salary to be confirmed based on experience and this position will be subject to a six month probationary period. Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for an MI officer to be based in Dingwall. This will encompass gathering of requirements, amending & supporting existing reporting and the management of 3rd parties to assist with the delivery of the reports where necessary. Areas of Responsibility Ensure that NSL meets its contractual obligations and the service objectives of the client by driving a continuous improvement ethos throughout the contract Plan, design, develop, implement and support statistical management models within the contracts Analysing data from internal audits, client feedback and external feedback and providing regular feedback Develop and amend MI reporting in accordance with business requirements Field ad-hoc report requests and data enquiries from various areas of the business Drive improvements to the solutions by ensuring that technology is utilised appropriately Contribute to the development of the long term MI roadmap, and help define how to introduce new and improved reporting longer term Introduce new and improved reporting longer term Look at how we can provide a more joined up MI approach encompassing all application platforms – both in house & externally hosted solutions Review and resolve issues logged in relation to the reporting systems, and if necessary involve 3rd parties to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner Person Specification Self motivated Strong communicator – both verbal and written Strong planning & organising skills Strong problem solving & investigation skills Strong analytical and interpretative skills Experience of producing complex and detailed data analysis to a non technical audience The Ideal candidate: In depth knowledge of all MS Office applications, including an excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong conceptual and analytical thinking Excellent report writing techniques Sound level of commercial acumen Strong communication skills both written and verbal You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) Shifts vary between the hours of 07:00 and 20:00, flexibility for the role is essential.
