ABOUT THIS ROLE To assist in payroll processing and the timely and accurate payment of 45,000 employees and pensioners across weekly and four-weekly payrolls. KEY RESPONSIBIILITIES Data input of employee information into GKi Validating data entered onto GKi by employees and managers Processing payroll and checking calculations of statutory payments and deduction Processing of absence and calculation of sick/maternity payments To assist with any ad-hoc project work as required Employees paid accurately and on time Customer surveys periodically Low error rates as measured on Payroll metrics ABOUT YOU High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines Proven team player with high levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion. Organised, methodical, self-motivated and committed to providing quality service. Ability to react positively to sudden and unexpected changes in demand; a “can-do” attitude Good level of IT literacy 1 year high-volume payroll experience (preferable, not essential) Good numeric and literacy skills. GCSE Maths and English (A*-B) are essential, further education is desirable #LI-CM1 Location: Bury St Edmunds, UK
