An exciting opportunity has become available for a permanent Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist to join our expanding and ambitious department. We are an enthusiastic, dedicated and friendly Paediatric team and welcome your application. You will be well-motivated and innovative, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage your time and workload. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive paediatric audiology assessments to young babies and children up to 18 years of age. Though predominantly a paediatric role, you will get to retain, use and expand your adult audiology skills and experience. We are looking for an experienced individual with substantive experience in Paediatric Audiology including electrophysiology testing. You will be working as per NHSP, MCHAS and local guidelines. You will be sharing the Paediatric workload including referral from GPs, Health visitors, School Nurses, Speech and Language therapists, ENT, Paediatricians, Newborn Hearing Screening targeted follow ups, NHSP referrals for diagnostic assessment following the screening, Paediatric Hearing Aid fittings and providing habilitation to children of all ages. You are likely to be required to work at any of the Trust sites. You will possess a BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification and be HPC/RCCP registered. LNWH Audiology is a keen supporter of research, innovation and undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. The successful applicant will be involved in this work.
