Inplace Personnel are recruiting for a Stock Controller for our client in Annesley. We are the ONLY recruitment business in Mansfield to achieve 100% Platinum Award Accreditation for Customer Service by the Local Business Improvement District This is a Nights role, hours 22:00-06:00 This is a hands on role is to lead and motivate their team in order to deliver and achieve outstanding results. The position will report into the Stock Control FLM It is anticipated that this role will be 80% productive and 20% management support Accountabilities • The candidate will have an understanding of key service level indicators in their area and will pro-actively seek solutions to issues surrounding the SLA Purpose of the role • Maintain stock accuracy by conducting regular PI checks within the agreed timescales and identify and report any ‘Critical to Quality’ (CTQ) processes/practices to Stock Manager • Ensure that all Operational non-conformance is monitored and reported to the Stock manager • Identify root cause of stock accuracy issues and escalate to Manager with suggestions for resolution • Contribute to the planning of an efficient warehouse layout and participate in stock counts across the business Commercial / Cost Management: • Good understanding of the ‘UPH’ to be achieved to contribute to their areas profitability • Ensure all staff hours are accurately accounted for Positive Attitude and Working Culture: • Leads by example in a fair and consistent manner • Praises team and celebrates success • A flexible approach To take an active role in Continuous Improvement activities Managing Attendance: • Ensures that sickness and absence (S&A) targets are not exceeded and that team holidays are managed in line with operational requirements escalating any timekeeping and absence issues to the manager.
