Job Advert As a supply administrative assistant with Midlothian Council you will be offered either short or long term placements on fill or part time hours in on of our 32 primary schools, 2 nursery schools, 6 secondary schools or Saltersgate. Experiences of working in a supervisory post within s financial setting, preferably within the local governments or similar environment is required and experience of general financial procedures are also essential. It is essential the job holder has evidence of competence in literacy and numeracy skills such as higher in English and Mathematics. Previous experience working in a busy office environment demonstrating good computer skills, the ability to organise a range of tasks, good communication skills and knowledge of financial and administrative procedures is also essential as is a first aid certificate. A HNC level qualification and previous experience in an education setting or working with children and parents is desirable. The rate of pay for this post is £10.91 per hour. Requirements Regulated Work with Children This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007.
